The above video courtesy of IGN shows us one reason why Sony is still worthy of attention. Not only did they announce Indie developers the ability to self publish on PSN, they also announced a slew of Indie games coming into the new Indie Games section. Sony will get Jonathon Blow's The Witness, Supergiant Games' Transistor, Klei Entertainments' Don't Starve, Tribute Games' Mercenary Kings, Young Horses' Octodad: Deadliest Catch, SwitchBlade Monkeys' Secret Ponchos, Ragtag Studio's Ray's the Dead, Red Barrels' Outlast, 17-Bit Studio's Galaxy, and Oddworld Inhabitans is releasing a remake of the first Oddworld game titled Oddworld: New N Tasty! While there is no doubt that PCs will always be the primary haven for Indie developers, it is still an excellent sight to see Sony extending a hand out and giving so many of these developers time at the E3 conference. Also, considering Microsoft showed off all of two Indie games, it's a safe bet Sony will become the new leader in console based Indie development.

What do you guys think? Will we see more and more Indie devs move to Sony, or will Microsoft pull out something to keep their hold on the console aspect of that market?

I hope Microsoft does something, because I've been set for buying a PS4 since it was revealed, and I still don't see an incentive to get a Xbox One.
