Sony is riding high on a wave of good will from their E3 press conference, with some declaring that they have won the console war already, and it'd be hard to argue that the presence of Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 in their showing did not add to the spectacle of it. Now, this isn't bad news, but it does temper the impact of the games' presence at the PS4 event just a little bit: at a Square Enix event today, it was announced that both games are coming to the Xbox One, as well.
This shouldn't come as any kind of surprise, both because Final Fantasy XIII and its sequels are/were Xbox-bound and because Square Enix is financially in very dire straits and could use as large an audience as possible. There is currently no word on any major differences between the two releases, and if this was the deciding factor in console purchasing for anyone I would be very surprised if they chose the $100 more expensive piece of hardware, but it does fill out the Xbox One's library with the dash of variety that it really needs.
Neither game has a set release date yet, though FFXV looks to be in a very functional and polished state, and I, for one, will be more than happy to update you when more information on these titles come down the pipeline.

It honestly doesn't worry me that much since the only reason I would consider getting the xbone version would be if they drop all their bs with used games and daily checking.
