Quantum Break, the new Xbox One-exclusive game from Max Payne and Alan Wake studio Remedy Games, was shown at the Microsoft press conference today. It's a brief trailer, demonstrating at least two classic Remedy trademarks: an ugly, slightly dorky-looking main character in a dark jacket with a gun, and some kind of power that will likely end up being that "special something" which mixes the gameplay up.

On the subject of gameplay: there's none here, nor is there any real indication of what gameplay will necessarily be like, though I suspect the game will feature a lot of shooting. The concept of stopping time isn't remarkably original, but I have faith in Remedy thanks to their track record, so for that alone this is one to keep an eye on.

Also, add this to the list of "was it CG or real-time" trailers. It doesn't look too far beyond the range of, say, Ryse, so I'd be willing to believe this is real-time.

If this is an in game trailer then damn that was impressive, on a side note would have prepared to see some gameplay in this trailer as well.
