Here you have it: another Saints Row IV trailer, complete with dubstep, superpowers, and lead actor Troy Baker using the same voice he uses for every other role he's ever had.
It's a good bit of fun to see the main character, now the President because why not, zipping around and brutalizing civilians (and some enemies) with the superpowers he has because why not, but it's still strange to see how far this series has come from its "next gen GTA until a next gen GTA arrives" origins. I don't believe I'm alone in considering Saints Row 2's formula of edginess mixed with random comedy the best balance the series has achieved, and I have to admit that it saddens me a little that things have gone even farther in a different direction.
But for now, who cares? It's a silly trailer, and when it comes out it will probably be worth a laugh or two. Sometimes, that's all I need from my video games.
Saints Row IV releases for the 360, PS3, and PC in North America on August 20th, and in the rest of the world on August 23rd.

I will have to disagree about what you said about SR2 Zack . To me, it felt like they were trying too hard to be edgy and I didn't think it meshed well with the comedy at all. I honestly preferred The Third in that regard, and while I do miss the gang wars it was one of the funniest games i've ever played. Here's hoping SR4 can do even better.

Seems like people in the comments aren't responding well to the trailer.

But the real question is...can you make the State of the Union address completely naked? If it's a Saints Row game....then yes....yes you can.
