Jane Jensen is a household name to anyone familiar with Gabriel Knight, or classic PC adventure-games, and a beloved female writer/design in video games since I can remember. With her recent works going by the wayside it seems Jensen is trying to return to former glory with the upcoming release of Moebius, under her newly formed indie-studio Pinkerton Road.

Today, Pinkerton Road released a new trailer for Moebius; which has totally piqued my interest. The game revolves around a character named Malachi, an antiques historian, who is being tasked to work on an “odd job” for a conspicuous government agency. Tonally the game *seems* to harken back to Gabriel Knight – from what I can tell in the trailer, at least – which is something to be excited for.

Knowing what I do of Mrs. Jensen, and her masterful storytelling, I have faith that her approach to video game narrative will bode well in today’s video game market. Not much else is known about Moebius, except that it will be playable this year’s E3, and is planned to land on PC/Mac/Linus/iOS platforms.

Enjoy the trailer.

Malachi Recto? HAHAAA! that is such a porno stage name. He so looks like hes got a boner and is DTF at 0:45. I'm so bad.

Immaturities aside. I don't really like how the character models look. Their head doesn't suit with their torso in some shots, and in other shots, their arms look really skinny as well. They stand very stiff too which is also something I don't like. However I'm sure this game will be good with it's writing prowess.
