Ubisoft Announces Might & Magic X Legacy

If you blink you can almost miss it, but in between Assassin's Creed 2398525 announcements Ubisoft can surprise gamers by breathing air into an almost forgotten RPG series. Earlier this week there was a teaser posted on the official Might & Magic website that only had a giant X with "Meet Us at PAX East!" written underneath. Today, with only hours left until PAX, Ubisoft and Limbic Entertainment made good on their obvious teaser by announcing Might & Magic X Legacy which will be showcased at PAX and released sometime this year. 

Their statement, posted with their trailer, reads:

After a decade, a Might & Magic® RPG is back with both the unique core formula and a new set of improved and fine-tuned features. The best RPG of its class!

In the wake of the spectacular events in Might & Magic® Heroes® VI, you will play in a party of four adventurers entangled in intrigue and political machinations unfolding in and around Karthal. The city, on the verge of secession, is prey to competing factions vying for its control. Your actions will determine the fate of the city.
