Hey all, here is a "work in progress" list of how subscribing to our stream on Twitch can benefit you! It's important to understand that these subscriber benefits are evolving. We are working on new features for the site, and in the future, we will have the ability to have Twitch subscriptions carry over to our site. That will give us a lot more options for how we do subscriber benefits. A 4Player Fun Club if you will. Keep in mind that subscribing is the best way to support what we do at 4Player. We make almost nothing from ads, so your subscriptions go a long way to keeping 4Player alive and kicking.
As of now, these are what we have planned.
All subscribers:
- No ads on the live stream. Cause ads suck, amirite?
- Your nifty little 4p subscriber icon. So people know how cool you are.
- Subscriber of the Night: We will randomly choose a subscriber each night and shower you with attention. Really it's kinda like Chatter of the Week, but we ask you in chat instead. You will also receive massages from the unwashed, lesser chatters.
- You get to vote on the games we play during Subscriber Night.
- A chance to become the coveted Subscriber of the Month!
Subscriber of the Month:
- Receive a free (and exclusive) 4player Subscriber t-shirt. We are woking on the design now. If you live in a remote part of the world that can't receive packages, then we will come of some other way to hook you up with something fancy.
- Get to choose any game for us to play on the stream that month. Want one of us to play for favorite game? Want us to play something scary? Want to play a co-op or multiplayer game with US? Any game you want, we will try to make it happen. We have access to almost any game system.
- We record a special podcast about your game of choice at the end of the month. And you even have the option to podcast with us! If that isn't your thing, feel free to send us your questions or topics related to that game, and we will discuss those too. Will also include a segment where we wax philisopical about any random thing you want to bring us. It's like your own personalized dream podcast!
Future benefits we are trying to figure out:
- Exclusive video content and private broadcasts for subscribers.
- A night where we play a game or list of games that you subscribers have collectively decided on.

Doesnt sound to great. The future benefits is where the content and value will be, right not u basically get a icon and the "chance" to be a chatter of the week and sub of the month. No guarantee u will get a t-shirt (which u can buy at their t-shirt store unless its a special t-shirt), pick a game (is it a full playthrough seeing its a month?), or be in on a podcast/have a podcast on your picked game. Its random at least for the chatter for the week which pretty much all subscribers get only an icon, most of the benefits is if u manage to be picked for sub of the month which is bad if say 50 ppl subbed and only 12 out of those 50 will be picked, i say wait until future benefits kick in.
Also not to many ppl vote even when given the chance to vote for a game and adblock is used by pretty much 90+% of users.
I mean if i was a sub and was picked i would like a walking dead the game podcast special that was teased about last year or some more work on that game database section. Can subs make requests like that if they become sub of the month or is picking a game the only option?

Ad-blocker or no, the point is to help support the site. Not everyone will sub on that factor alone, hence promoting it with benefits.
Also to CrossOutlaw. the Sub of the Month shirt WILL be a special shirt not available otherwise.

It is only $5....... I'm not subscribed for the benefits, I subscribed because I want to support 4PP. I love what I get from 4PP, and so by supporting I'm able to help them grow into something bigger. Instead of thinking just about the benefits, if you love or enjoy what 4PP does and them to continue, subscribe! They deserve it for how much they do.

I never watch the stream. I'm pretty much just a fan of the podcast, but I subscribed for a month recently.

I sub mainly to support the site. Everything else is a bonus. I am looking forward to when you set up a sub system through your own site, so all the money will go to support the stream, podcast, and site.
Also, I use adblocker on pretty much everything, but unblock the 4pn site.

Already subscribed. Been following 4PN since early 2009 and discovered the iTunes account a few months after that. Not necessarily looking for benefits. I'm happy to throw my small support for you guys. Not very active in the forums and rarely watch the feed.
You guys provide me with an abundance of entertainment. Whether it's from the feed, podcasts, tweets, and highlights. Thank you for all you've done so far!
