The Weekly: Level-5's Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

og:image:,

New games; every week. Every week; new, sweet, entertaining, brain-rotting video games. So many infact, that we often forget those "gems" behind during our end-year deliberations. Not any more. Each week, I'll be highlighting my favorite game released ; this way: the commenter have a target to flame, I have some notes for end-year headaches, and we all have fun!

We here at 4Player Network have been going heavy on the Ni No Kuni this week and have managed to post an Audible Impression for the game before Monday - so I'm going to keep this week's Weekly brief.

Studio Ghibli + Level-5 = <3

Nolan and I sat down to talk Kuni on this week's Audible Impressions. Go listen!

While I've barely scratched the surface on this game, I'm overcome with enjoyment while playing. Ni No Kuni is not reinventing the genre by any means, but it's just what the doctor ordered to kick off 2013; charming, chunky, and engaging. Plus: it's a pretty strong PS3 exclusive, late in the generation, that is leaving many gamers I know without a Playstation, in desire.

 Till next Weekly...

I love Studio Ghibli, but I never played a Level 5 game. It seems they have done a great job according to other people I've talked to, and as well as your audible impressions.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, it probably would have flown under my radar entirely. Just from the trailer it looks really impressive and after listening to the Audible Impressions, it sounds like an instant-buy for me.
