Rejoice: Diablo III's Beta Open To All This Weekend!

For over half a year, the folks at Blizzard have been gracing their community of fans by inviting some to a closed beta for their upcoming sequel, Diablo III. These invites were the only way to gain access to the game and left many fans desperate, pleading for a chance to play the classic dungeon crawler series' latest iteration. Blizzard has heard your cries, dear gamers, and with the game releasing just a handful of weeks from now they have decided to open up the beta to everyone... for a limited time.

Starting today at 12pm PDT you will be able to play the beta through Monday, April 23 when it closes up once again at 10am PDT. Players who don't want to worry about having to lose several hours of gameplay waiting for it to download don't have to despair, as the beta client can be downloaded in advance by clicking the following link.
