Yesterday I told you guys about Mass Effect 3's new extended ending DLC. It seems though that this wasn't the crux of Bioware's announcement at PAX East as they announced this morning that the first piece of DLC to come to the game is for the game's multiplayer. For fans of this mode this is exceptionally exciting given that we've only had six maps to work with.The best news about it is the release information: it arrives Tuesday, April 10th and will be free.
Dubbed the Resurgence Pack, this DLC will include two new maps, six new characters to play as and three new weapons. I'll detail them below.
- Maps: Condor, a Turian base on Manee that looks upon the wreckage of a downed Turian cruiser. Hydra, a Geth platform at sea, possibly on Rannoch.
- Characters: Batarian Soldier , Batarian Sentinel, Geth Infiltrator, Geth Engineer, Asari Justicar Adept and the Krogan Vanguard (aka the Pain Train).
- Weapons: Striker Assault Rifle, Geth Plasma SMG, and the Kishock Harpoon Gun.

@ 00:15...the color of those characters were Red, Green, and Blue just like the silly ending! Is it just me, or is this Bioware's way of trying to get people to not trade in their decent shooter?

The Kishock Harpoon Gun looks like a ton of fun, and I like Firebase Hydra in particular. Also good to get some extra characters.
