Nick, about the Nekker (?) nest's: You have to build a certain type of bomb (grapeshot or something) to destroy them. I don't remember exactly, but that might be described more detailed in the questtext. Be sure to buy all the books about creatures in the library though, helps a lot.

Can you please get some different into/outro music!!! The little piano piece really doesn't fit in with rest of the show.
