After a weekend at PAX East, the crew reflects back on the show and gives Brad and Nick a chance to chime in on some of the more noteworthy titles such as Hitman, Dragons Dogma, and Monaco. Capcom held their annual press event, Captivate early in the week and used it as a venue to debut new Resident Evil 6 and Devil May Cry details as well as a rather surprising announcement for Lost Planet 3. As you may have guessed, there is a lot to say about the announcements and some of it has to do with Volcanoes. Don't forget to check out our most recent episodes of Audible Impressions for additional thoughts on Silent Hill Downpour and Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City!

I am just curious, but has Nick ever had a nightmare with a volcano in it? :P In all honesty, great show guys. I haven't laughed that much in a while! Monaco sounds like a badass game I would play with my friends; especially if it was something like couch co-op. And you guys are really making me consider going out and pre-ordering Dragon's Dogma; for a new IP, this sounds like a pretty big undertaking.

this is unrelated to the podcast, but what was with the live broadcast after wayback wednesday with joseph on April 12th? it was like 10 straight hours of highlight clips....

Leila sounded like a total chicksis (dudebro). The Resident Evil conversation was entertaining as all hell and I'm always somewhat disappointed when you act like you have to rush through things like that, though I think I can see why. Great show altogether, guys.

Great podcast guys, thanks for answering my question. However my name is pronounced Acer even though it's spelt Asa. I'm not bothered though, it happens a lot in my daily life.

Haha I love these resident evil tangents. I starting to become more and more keen about Dragon's Dogma and surprisingly less of Hitman absolution. Great show guys

Man, Resi 3 Isn't acceptable? That's my favourite Resi! Just like Fusion is my favorite metroid. Man, games where you're being hunted are the best.

Man, it is painfully obvious Nick has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to RPGs, and Brad never fails to bring up the fact an RPG isn't an matsuno game or like one like it's a seal of quality. There are plenty of people out there that do not like matsuno's style and would consider it even a perk that it's not like one.
Xenoblade gets as high scores as it does because its a well done traditional JRPG that of the like we haven't seen in many years, not because it revolutionizes the genre. I'm gonna have to disagree with Brad on that it doesn't deserve the praise it gets.

You guys are awesome. Everytime Nick goes on about Resident Evil he always shoots himself in the foot. Lmao. Admit it, Nick. You love ALL the Resident Evil games.

Did they EVER finish talking about Mass Effect 3, like the ending or the upcoming DLCs (or are they just not into it enough to care?)
