Gotham City Impostors Community Night

Join Carlos and Nolan as they wreak havoc in Gotham City while Batman and Joker are out of town.

Gotham City Impostors is a multiplayer game set in the Batman universe. In the game, you play on a team of either impostors of Batman, or the Joker. It has a similar play style to other modern shooters with a Batman twist. There are regular guns like assault rifles, SMGs, and rocket launchers, then there are Freeze Guns and Katanas.  There are also unique ways of traversing the battle field such as a Grappling Gun, Glider, Roller skates, and Spring Shoes. You can use traditional support items like grenades, pipe bombs, and hatchets, but why not use bear traps, a Jack-in-the-Box containing a bomb, the Airspace Denier (which is a garden gnome with a taser taped to it which will shock anyone flying over it)? You can fully customize your Batman or Joker, from cowls and face paint to boots or bunny slippers, body type which effects speed and health, even down to different voices with a pitch adjustment. It's an interesting experience the first time you are killed by a giant Batman who then talks like a little girl when he taunts you.

There are also 3 different game modes. There's your typical Death Match, which is first team to 49 kills.  There is Fumigation, which puts a twist on Capture the Point, where teams try to acquire machines on the map, which if held long enough will release a plume of toxic gas for the Jokers or a swarm of bats for the Batmen ending the match. Then there is Psych Warfare where each team tries to attach a battery to a speaker on the opposing teams side, which if held in place long enough starts to spout demoralizing statements at the other team, causing them to run around unable to use their weapons for 30 seconds.

To make a long story short, show up on Saturday for a night of awesome fun, and maybe even some Shark Repellent. If you don't have the game yet, I highly suggest buying it, it's more than worth the $15 price tag.  Plus, then you'll get to play with Carlos and myself.
