Great Podcast, I love your guys site, and think everyone of you that are in these casts all have great, differing personalities and opinions.

I just wanted to say I think a lot of people dislike AC because of what they perceive is an annualized series. I agree Revelations did start to make the series wear on me a little and I played less of it than the others, but the developers have stated as of THIS MOMENT FOR NOW, that they won't be releasing yearly games after the release of AC3. I think the biggest reason they released them annually, was because the story arch they have created, needs to be finished by the end of this year, for their whole doomsday theory to take place and coincide with the real life 2012 doomsday theory.

They probably just ended up with more story that they wanted to tell in more games than what they originally intended. It just sucks for the franchise that a lot of people don't even play these games and realize they are dealing with an actual real world deadline that can't be changed no matter what, because well....it's a date on a calendar, you can't change that.

I myself, am definitely excited for AC3 and can't wait to see how Desmond stops the doomsday from happening. I love the new setting, but the story and lore connected with real life history and conspiracy theories is what the AC series is all about to me.

Good stuff. I always liked Assassin's Creed, but I couldn't work up the urge to play Revelations even though I bought it. I'll wait until Assassin's Creed 3 comes out until I get back into the series, I guess.

Really, really excited for this game. I'd even go as far as to say its up there with Bioshock: Infinite in terms of how hyped I am now. I also fully agree about it being a bit premature to throw the series into modern day. This series especially can do so much with its period backdrops it would be a waste of so much potential to do something in current times so early in the series lifespan. Despite how much flack the series gets I think it has endless possibilities in terms of creating interesting games because it is the only big franchise around these days that really explores vastly different settings to such a high degree.

P.S Anyone know what the song is in the intro and outro? sounds insanely familiar.

That was a great listen thanks guys. :D

I thought the whole tree parkour thing was a little out there, but I imagine that's just as out there as jumping from cathedrals and mountains into a bale of hay a thousand times or zip lines being everywhere like in Revelations.

Does anyone else feel like AC3 will be a cross between the movie timeline and national treasure? With the modern day assassins discovering things in the modern day hidden by or things conor sees hidden by the founding fathers that they then find to foil the Templars?
