Spotlight

It's that time again, folks! This is the Forum Spotlight, a weekly post about what's going on in the forums!

Two weeks ago, users started posting their videos promoting 4Player Podcast and the forums over in this thread. We asked you to submit your own renditions for use in a compilation video. We're still collecting, so you should keep posting!

Onwards to this week, here's the rundown for what's been going on, starting with...

An Introduction to Microbot
AdjacentKitten brings us a look at Microbot, an indie title released for the Xbox 360 Market Place and PlayStation Network. It's a work steeped in minimalism, and well worth checking out.
Cube World
Dumon dug up some information about an RPG called Cube World. Reminiscent of Minecraft in its look, the guy working on the game says he was inspired by plenty of other sources as well, including Diablo and Zelda.
Mass Effect 3 beta discussion
If you've been playing the Mass Effect 3beta, go join in on the discussion thread.
Gaming Space
A couple years back, AznSenzati0n asked us to post pictures of what our gaming areas look like. Just yesterday, the idea was revived by our own Joseph Christ (Sardunos on the forums), and the threads were merged.
Top 5 Games for Local Multiplayer
People making lists about their favorite local multiplayer experiences, be it via split screen, system link, or over a LAN. Tell us about yours, won't you?
Steam Meet Ups
If you're a PC gamer, more than likely, you own a few games on Steam. TheCineaste has started organizing meet ups for Steam users in the community, so if you've got some Steam games, check out his thread.

So this is a weekly thing now? That's actually pretty cool.

Nyahhh.. thanks for the highlight, even if the link to my article doesn't work. It's the thought that counts. I just hope something like this keeps going... considering the slow, painful bleed-out the Community Highlight has endured since its resurrection last year.
