This week on Dinner Time, Jack and David sit down to talk about the PC market, Jack's love for Demo Discs, and some other stuff.
I apologize beforehand about my noisy eating habits. I will work on it for future shows.
Recorded February 8th, 2012.

I guess you can say I've grown used to the eating noise(it even makes me laugh when I hear it), but I get the biggest kick when people in chat get annoyed by it xD
I think revolver ocelot said it best, and I paraphrase:
There's nothing like the feeling of slamming a long silver disk into a well greased "disk tray"

I want to listen this, but I can't get over sound of someone chewing on food while trying to talk. That's like the worst idea ever wtf.
P.S. still listening.

Good discussion, I enjoyed hearing about the ways of playing online in years past.

As a kid, demo discs were half of my collection. I didn't have a lot of money to spend on games so I bought the few that I really wanted and the rest were from the magazines.
The game market today is geared towards availability and content. It is slowly giving up all physical representation of games themselves.

Another horrible new trend in gaming: downloadable demos that expire after a period of time. EA seems to be championing this, but now I noticed the Twisted Metal demo stopped working too (yes, even the single player mode).

I know this may sound dumb but...where is that lettuce picture?

Jack, definitely agree with you about the lettuce.

Great show, I used to be subscribed to gamepro back then and they didnt really provide demo discs that much. I just ended up stealing some of them. Go into a Barnes and Noble, be all sneaky just to take the demo disc from another magazine. Lol
