I'll start by saying that I am not a furry. But this is the Internet, and I know you're out there. The problem is that a majority of games that do feature your run of the mill creature people are often C or D tier anime inspired Japanese RPGs or dating sims. But furrr not, I have compiled a Top 5 list of more inspired and potentially quality games featuring your favorite furry fixations that will hopefully fulfill your fairly fucked up needs. Just don't forget to paws the game before you get down to business.

5. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time might be the highest profile game on this list, but don't let that fool you. This is probably the most furry friendly of the pack. The Sly series has never been afraid to sexy up some fur, and the games aren't half bad either. It should be noted that Sucker Punch isn't actually developing this entry, but it is instead being worked on by the team that put the Sly Collection together. They claim to be big fans of the series, so we'll have to see. The gameplay footage below seems promising enough.

4. This one might be a bit controversial. I'm not entirely sure if the protagonist of Owlboy is actually a cross between a boy and an owl, or just a boy in an owl suit. But since many of you furries like to dress us in animal costumes anyway, I figured this game might still be serviceable. This indie platformer seems to be hitting all the right "awesome indie game" bullet points, so I can't wait for the full version. There is a demo available on on the developer's website, so check it out.

3. Dust: An Elysian Tail has left a lot of non-furries very confused and somewhat frightened about their chubbies when watching these trailers. It's easy to see why someone would be drawn to the aesthetics of this game, but the character designs are clearly targeting lovers of attractive talking animals. The newest trailer below might try to hide this aspect of the game, but don't fall for the trap. Check out the earlier trailer to see the fur fest that is every cut-scene in this game. I have a sneaking suspicion that the developer is trying to use the unbridled power of the attractive looking indie game to turn people into furries. Non furries -- beware. Furries -- do whatever it is you all do in the privacy of your own dens.

2. The Suikoden series is certainly no stranger to animal people, and Suikoden PSP appears to continue this tradition. It's been too long since a proper Suikoden entry, but these games are always worth trying out. When the primary goal is to recruit 108 different characters, an occasional cat girl or duck guy is bound to slip through the cracks. Most of the trailers for this game don't feature the furries, but they can't hide from me. In the picture below, I've spotted some sort of lizard dude, an owl man, and an odd pink goat girl kitty bird. It may a little short in the fur department, but there should be plenty scales and feathers to please even the most casual of furry fiends.

1. The clip below is one of many developer videos for the indie game Overgrowth. It has been a work in progress for years, but I watch these update videos every time they hit the Wolfire Games youtube page. Not only have I learned a lot about game design (and just how much smarter this person is than me), but the game looks genuinely cool. I love great combat systems, and this game's is innovating in so many different ways. The updated builds of the game are playable if you buy into the alpha, but you might also consider playing Overgrowth's spiritual predecessor, Lugaru. Oh, and there's bunnies for the sickos.

All of these games look very exciting. I want to thank you Brad for mentioning Overgrowth on the 2012 preview show. I became so obsessed with Overgrowth when I was watching the developer videos. Owlboy and Dust look really cool. I have yet to play a Suikoden game, I might have to remedy that soon.

last time I saw Overgrowth I had no idea what it even was. I thought it was going to end up being a weird rabbit person racing game or something.

Overgrowth looks surprisingly awesome. I had heard SO little about this game that I hadn't even checked it out. That combat system looks DAMN interesting.

May have to check out that alpha.

    I enjoyed that.

    For comical reasons.

Don't send me back to prison, the cut of it's fur, it was asking for it.

I really want to play Sly Cooper 4. Though the gameplay looked a lot slower than I want it to be. Maybe it is just the first glance or nostalgia goggles but this being the same guys that did the HD update they should have a decent idea for how they feel.
