Spike Video Game AwardsAlan Wake is a game that I have tremendous amount of respect for. It stole my heart and earned a spot in my top 10 games of all time thanks to it's haunting atmosphere and pulse-pounding gameplay. As we discussed on this week's podcast, Alan Wake is getting a sequel next year and the trailer will debut at the Spike (Nobody gives a shit) VGA Awards on December 10th. While I hate the award show, there is no denying that the show is one of the leading outlets for publishers to unveil their upcoming releases. Alan Wake: Night Springs will be released as a download on XBLA sometime next year but until we get the first full-length trailer, this teaser will tide you over.

I really liked Alan Wake when I first played it but I re-rented it recently and ended up not finishing it because it just wasn't as compelling a second time, after having experienced it. A new one will be interesting.

    This was a teaser? >.>

And Remedy wonders why their fans are concerned with an arcade release?

For a game that took a crazy long time to make, I wasn't that big a fan of it.

Though I do wonder what they plan on doing with this. Hopefully they try a new environment. I vote Desert or Snow.
