This past weekend I had the privilege of being invited to QuakeCon, a yearly free event hosted by id Software that brings together gamers with one of the most famous development studios in the history of the industry. While there, in addition to getting to do some press-only events (which you will read about in the coming days) I had the pleasure of attending several of the convention's panels headed by famous faces like Morgan Webb and Daniel Kayser.
For your consideration I hereby submit the videos that I captured while there. Please note that each video is roughly an hour long so you might want to pace yourself. Now that my YouTube account has been upgraded to allow for 15+ minute videos expect more videos like this at upcoming events.
In advance, my apologies for the audio quality: my mic didn't pick up nearly as much as I hoped it would (a Rode shotgun videomic can only do so much).

Thanks for the posts, but I still got that Q&A with John Carmack to finish before I watch these.

Oh man, I didn't know you went to Quakecon. I just got back from Quakecon last night. I met up with a few of the forum members, I hope you had fun.

Great quality. id and Valve are two of my most favorite developers. Kudos to id for keeping QuakeCon free. Always interesting to listen Carmack speak.
