Thank sweet baby jesus for obligatory upskirts! Fans of Suda 51's insane contributions to the video game industry will be pleased to learn that Warner Bros. has officially picked up the publishing rights for the recently announced 'Lollipop Chainsaw'. While many were expected a longer, drawn out road to western shores for the campy title, a recent partnership between Warner Bros and Japanese publishing conglomerate, Kadokawa games, made the overseas distribution a swift affair.
After the disappointing performance of Grasshopper Manufacture's latest title, 'Shadows of the Damned', I am pleased to see that this hasn't dissuaded publishers from supporting some of the more fresh and obscure concepts. And what could be more obscure than a high school cheerleader who cuts up zombies with a chainsaw? Now let's just hope that Warner Bros doesn't make the same mistake that EA made with Shadows by not marketing the damn game. Or better yet, why not just forget marketing all together and just release the game at a lower price point. Take your pick Warner.
The game is scheduled to be released sometime in 2012. We will be talking about it a lot.

Could Warner do some marketing and maybe release the game for $50? It could help get grasshopper get more exposure in the long run.

Looking good. I'm loving Shadows of the Damned so far. So this is a insta buy for me. :D Hopefully it's just as full as character, because chicks killing zombies can bore... *cough* Onechanbara *cough*.
This makes me want a new Buffy game as bad as I wanted that new Indiana Jones game. Sigh. BTW Nick the original Xbox Buffy game is the better one. Chaos Bleeds is fun enough but janky as hell. It lets you kill vampires by staking them in the heart, leg, foot, arm, hand, head, crotch, stomach etc. The jank makes it laugh out loud-able at times. Vampires often bust into a room and go "eugh" in their too silly to be serious voices. It's fun but it borders on Evil Dead: Fistful of Boomstick fun. Where you end up enjoying it for the jank and not so much the actual gameplay. Just had to get that out. Buffy was the game that made me pick Xbox over PS2 back in the day (there could only be one). Couldn't stand it being sold as the inferior game. For shame sir. :P
No hard feelings. I think you're my fave 4PP member. You seem to have similar taste to me. Did I hear correctly that you like BloodRayne? Did you play Xmen Origins Wolverine? Just pretend he's Rayne. :D Fun fun.
