Didn't modders make a bunch of crazy costumes with the PC release? I wouldn't be surprised if they got the idea for these from them. But I have to wonder how they animate the face from Animated Series batman. I can't imagine anything but stagnant mouth. And Holy Fuck at Dark Knight Returns Batman. Either I'm getting stuff mixed up or that costume is referring to the upcoming movie. I haven't really stayed much with any news about it but Christian Bale is still Batman right? He goes from Mechanic and Fighter to looking like Bane in a batman suit? Or just weird proportions for the game.

Also retailer specific DLC. 5 costumes. What the fuckkkkkk.

I think the fact that these skins are pre order bonuses is ridiculous! The skins should be available via beating the game or unlockables.
It's not like they are a game changer! Why can I not just have these because I bought the game?

Looking at the Batman Beyond and Animated Batman skins give me some nostalgia, but the nostalgia from the skins is not why I would pre order Arkham City.

The skins look great but the fact that their all pre-order only is a bit dumb I feel at least a few of them should be unlockables within the game or at least dlc

Despite being a Batman fan, the day I buy something someone else got for free for simply pre-ordering in a specific place is the DAY I DIE.

The question here is this, are you going to buy it because your a Batman fanboy, or are you NOT going to buy it because pre-order bonuses are bullshit? I like to think if people vote with their money and continually refuse to buy this nonsense, then something will change eventually. Maybe so, maybe not, but aside from posting on their forums, or emailing them I can't see any other way the average gamer can register their anger at this sort of stuff.

I expected most members of 4pp to be fairly up to date with the going's on in the video game industry, so why would you be surprised that all the pre-order DLCs are being seperated based off the stores. Yes I agree it's unfair, but it's always been like that for many years. I figured you guys could tolerate this sorta industry bollacks, didn't realize this was 4playerwhinecast.

I'm praying these suits will eventually all be released as DLC. I want to play every challenge map, using every skin, multiple times, forever.

That sucks balls. They should be unlockable like in Xmen Origins Wolverines. Outfits are more fun when you earn them. But alas so few games do unlockables these days. :( These are sad times indeed.

The default Arkham one is still my pick, but you'd have to hope at least that the others would be available as DLC. I understand the desire for exclusives but it's very frustrating at times.

I whole heartily agree with some of the other comments here; games of yesteryear which entailed sweet bonus content after the first play-through always excited the addictive collector in me.
More recent games such as Uncharted 2 had an enjoyable unlock system for fun and quirky bonus gifts, why don't more developers share this extra layer of entertainment.
I sure hope that RockSteady include these as in-game unlockables, perhaps for completing additional side quests, or at the very least, release an inexpensive DLC pack of the complete wardrobe later down the line.

these all look great costumes. probably just try to get the batman beyond skin though the second one (the dark knight returns) looks stockier than the rest and i dont really like it is all
