I'll be honest, that statement really made me want to play it. Which is weird, because I really enjoyed L.A. Noire and thought it was a decent game.

I still can't believe El Shaddai turned out that way, There goes my breather before Dark Souls and Skyrim. Great show as always.

Nick, the PS3 version of No More Heroes is inferior to the original on the Wii and even the original HD version released in Japan. They changed the hit detection on the motorcycle so you'll be getting stuck in a lot of trees. All the new bosses are already in Desperate Struggle. And Suda51 had nothing to do with these upgraded versions.
Both of the games on the Wii are cheaper than the upgraded version.

Sooner or later Brad's going to master his transitions.

Great cast, swayed me over to buy Dues Ex: HR

I just got DEHR in the mail today. Should've got it off of Gamestop so I could've gotten a $50 gift card... Though I got the Augmented Edition so I would've lost either way. (Gonna play it after I finish listening to this episode!)

And man, what Jack said was spoilery, but good for me haha. I love exploration, so I would've definitely not be as quick and would've had to replay. I'm planning on doing a nonlethal playthrough first, but we'll see. I like sniper rifles...

My friend was super excited for El Shaddai (usually his opinion matches mine), but after I checked out the demo I really wasn't feeling it. The art is beautiful but I completely lost interest. I still lack any interest...

Nice song choices. Nostalgia'd hard. Btw Nick, a few shows ago for chatter for the week I was the fanboy of FF7 and mentioned dinosaurs and female J pop bands. Just thought you should know FF9 is in my top 10 of all time since you made a comment about that :P and you asked what the other podcast I consistantly download is, it's more a podcast I used to consistantly download since they don't do it anymore, but it was the Ricky Gervais show.

hmm, just got deus ex...so I basically skipped that whole section of the podcast. I mostly agree about the things Brad said about El Shaddai...the visuals might be the only thing getting me through. Still have the other half of the show to listen to, so I'll probably listen to it at work tomorrow. Take it easy guys - - -

I agree with emotions in FF games...at the end of Crisis Core I bawled my eyes out, & end of FFX. & The FF7 remix music was a big nostalgia slap to the face. (Big FF fan here...)
& with chatter for the week, I also felt deja vu, like we'd heard that list before O_o
Anyway great show! I was waiting for this to see what you all thought about Deus Ex (and to see if I should buy it) and you have persuaded me xD

Brad doesn't know what he's talking about. I know very experienced, very credible people who like Alan Wake and gave it GOTY the year it came out. I am also very excited for DMC but lose a little bit of interest every time they change it to make it more like the previous ones. The peak of my hype was the very first trailer where it was a completely new animal.
