Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3's Roster is Disappointingly Awesome

What the fuck is a Rocket Racoon..?

Know what I want? I want Capcom to release this for free like Aksys did with BlazBlue, and pick up Megaman Legends 3, for trying to release this in the same year as the original Marvel vs. Capcom 3. That would give me days of fun rather than just hours.

I like the capcom roster and surprised the Wright got in even though he was once rejected. as for the marvel roster WTF is Rocket Racoon? I still kinda want Gene to be in the roster.

If there is one thing I've learned from capcom over the last 3-4 years is to never pick up the first release of one of their games. Usually within a year, they'll release an updated version of their game to "make it better" when all this content could have been released as DLC. Screw you Capcom, even if I like all the additions to the roster.

I would have loved to see an interesting single player mode in this game. I usually get very nervous when I fight online; so I don't.

Capcom is a real bitch. First they cancel Mega Man Legends 3, then they put Firebrand in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, whetting my appetite for a Demon's Crest sequel that I know will never in a million years happen. Fuck you and your cockteasing, Capcom.

I didnt buy the original but with Hawkeye in it, I might have to purchase. I have loved that character since I was a little kid

I don't mind any of these character additions, but I wouldn't mind having Frank West not be in in favor of Dare Devil or Black Panther from Marvel. I know they want to keep things even but I don't think Frank West is that necessary, not even Chuck? Oh well its their call but meh.

I wonder if they will put as much effort into Virgil's movelist as they did with Dante's.

It's a shame. I really wanted to see Sieg from Chaos Legion appear in the game. Or Blade from the Marvel universe. Oh well.

I used to read Rocket Raccoon when I was a kid...it was the back-up strip in the Transformers comics.

Never in a million years expected to see him return, in MvC no less.

characters like Firebrand (hooray) and frank west make for good new characters because you know they offer creativity and plenty of different moves. the same could also be said of many marvel characters but then we have the characters that fans so desperately wanted like Wright, and that makes me wonder; why is a non-action game protagonist without so much as training or experience in combat (as far as i know) in a fighting game?
i mean, it's cool, but will he simply shout the same qoute over and over to a squealing fan's content or will he use the ''law'' to bash his opponent? this makes for an interesting view on how well capcom might handle their mascots... still, looking forward to my demon...

Rocket Raccon is the effing shit! He's an anthropomorphic Raccoon that hangs out in space and blasts things with GIGANTIC EFFING GUNS while quipping sweet oneliners and hanging out with a humanoid tree prince that speaks in a language that consists of only 3 words in english. Sweet member of Starlord's Guardians of the Galaxy, capturing the hearts and minds of cosmic marvel lover's everywhere...

Plus, All of marvel's characters are human sized. They need a smaller/beastly/comedic guy to balance out Zero, Arthur, and Viewtiful Joe.

Iron Fist should have been in these games form Day 1

Fuck your face capcom. Your "updates" may entice all the fans to buy your games over and over and over, but more and more of us are getting tired of this cycle. Some of us don't just spend money on nothing but video games. Some people buy a game and plan to not have it killed by an "update". UMvC3 = what MvC3 should've been. All the defenders will say the same tired lines to defend crapcom, but anyone with a brain can see this is just how they're trying to maintain profits.
I promise you Street fighter vs. Tekken will have at least two updated versions released.

TL;DR I'm just butthurt because I get sick of buying capcom games just for them to make something better later (RE5, SF4, MvC3,)

I love the characters such as Vergil Nemesis adn Frank West Im a big fan of the three series and im in love with this along with the idea that these three games are having new games come out Like DMC(prequal to devil may cry 3*also prequal*) Resident Evil Operation Raccoon city or Resident Evil Revelations and the new Dead Rising Off the Record where you play as Frank West again!
