Hey, nice music choice!
As much as the soundtrack was great it hearing the same few tracks over and over kind of ruined it for me.
Also, finally some Trenched impressions!

Total Recall is a must see. I think you'll dig it Nick.
When I had the Knock-Knock, I'd sneak up behind someone and say "Who's there?". The joys of maxed out sneak and melee.
I really don't know what Square is doing these days man, kinda bums me out.
Tarantino and Suda would be sick! Scorsese and Kojima could also be really cool.
I'm sure A Dance with Dragons would be good, mainly because I'm really invested. Reviewers tend to get tired out with fantasy series, in my very limited experience.
I finished Crysis 2 this week, and I was kinda meh on it. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on it Nick.
As always guy, great show. Cheers once again.

I would love to see Retro Studios and Darren Arronofsky collaborate

I'm one of the 100 people who picked up Solar 2 off of XBLA, but because of 4PP. I don't regret the decision.
Tarantino/Suda would be great! Also the Darren Arronofsky one, though I'm not sure who to "pair" him with.
And I agree about music being essential to game design, or at the very least sound design. I'm a big fan of soundtracks in general, mainly due to the nostalgia factor, be it video games or movies or whatever. Sometimes I might even not like a track in the beginning, but once I hear it playing during an epic point in the game, my opinion changes. Sounds like a psychology lesson...
I've been reading A Dance With Dragons (most of my friends who are fans of ASoIF have finished it already), and I think it's pretty good. Lots of stuff going on...even more than before... But he writes well and I like the story, even if it doesn't progress. Savor it!
I'm not a member of Gamefly but I'm very much like Nick. I rarely buy games (got worse these past couple of years, given money and time issues), and when I do it's when they're super cheap or the collector's edition.

Brad you keep mentioning some of my favourite movies. Last podcast 'Barking Dogs Never Bite' now 'teeth'.

I bought Trenched solely based on how Brad rated it and described it. I'm glad I listened to this show.

I do love me some random tangents. Looking forward to listening to this.

Glad I could indirectly inspire a conversation about gummy dildoes. You guys literally need to stop misusing "literally" so much. Literally! Lastly, the PS2 had a lot of games with heroes uglier in design than Splosion Man. The main character of Haven is a hobbit with red cornrows!

Game Dev Story sounds very interesting
