I too am worried about the camera being a problem in combat. After watching a few battles the camera movements just hurt my eyes and it would seem difficult on the PSP. Is there a Class System going on in this one because if there is I'm even more hyped. I also hope that there is a lot of content as well and re-playability .

Man, this does look pretty awesome, but I'm still waiting for Versus 13.

Hoping canceling their Bazillion games in progress will let them better focus on games like this, etc

Didn't FFIX have the option of real-time and traditional combat? I forget, but I hope thing will not disappoint me like the recent installations.

This is shaping up to look pretty good, but I thought 13 looked pretty good at first and we all know how that turned out. As long it stays away from being too melodramatic this might be a final fantasy game I can get behind.

I haven't played a a Final Fantasy since PS2. Saying that it's one of my favorite series from the SNES days. This makes me wish I owned a PSP.

Square needs to look at the Rune Factory and Tales series. Yeah those hit a smaller niche crowd of gamers, but each game mostly is the same thing only better. Square just needs to sell games to it's customers. From the article this looks to be it.

Too bad I don't have a PSP. I would disagree with your statement and say that Final Fantasy 10 was a REAL Final Fantasy. Even if the setting was very different from the previous iterations, it still had that FF feeling to it. Just my opinion though.

I still have my old PSP 1000 that I haven't really used excessively over the years. I'm not too sure if I'd be interested in this FF game, but we'll see.

This looks amazing for a PSP game. Definitely a must buy when it comes out.

I've never really played an FF game before but I do own a PSP so I just might give this a try when it's released here in the U.S.

Sounds good, though I am also pretty worried about that battle system. I hope the camera can be controlled by the shoulder buttons, but I'm worried it's going to go for the Monster Hunter controls where the D-pad may be the camera. If they do have this on the NGP, they better utilize the extra analog stick.

I'm also getting a Crisis Core vibe from the battle system, and I that has me worried too, since I felt the battle system in CC was kinda boring. Though you never had any other party members, and this battle system may have more to it. We'll just have to wait and see.

Despite all that though, this game seems promising. It's weird how a couple years ago, this may have been my least anticipated title of the three FFs, but now it's my most anticipated.

I sold my PSP years ago. I'm not getting involved on this one.

I've been following this game along with Versus XIII. I'm excited by both. I honestly think S-E is gonna pull a nintendo on this one. The game is 2 UMDs long. I think S-E is gonna delay this game until the launch of the NGP and do a dual version release. Hopefully it'll come pre-installed on the NGP :). As for Versus XIII, they should really just change the name.

What a ridiculous amount of love for this game. Once again, I am surprised by how many in the 4Player community follow JRPGs.

Too bad its PSP, i still want FF:T for my iphone :P
