Brad and David sit down with Jack from MadOverdose.com to talk about their Top Five games which surprisingly enough had good stories.
Dinner Time 069 – Top Five Surprising Stories - [download]
A new voice on Dinner Time? This should be exciting.
The child crying towards the beginning made me laugh, really, really hard.
By the way, whatever happened to the Top 5 Podcasts?
One of the more interesting top fives and I think Jack did a good job on the show.
I really like Jack. Good show guys.
This was real fun to do, glad at how good the sound came out!
Great to see another top 5. I was starting to miss these.
dinner time podcasts might be my favorite next to the main show. thanks you guys
Looking forward to listening to this later. I really enjoy the dinnertime podcasts especially the bday dinner for Brad with the loud girls in the background and Brad goes we'll just be louder lol
I always like when they bring guests or different voices on the show; just makes it a little bit more refreshing!
btw, nice introduction XD got a good laugh out of me
I LOVED Hotel Dusk: Room 215. I got it for $10 used at GameStop, and it's even cheaper now, so I highly suggest people get it if you're able to track it down. The gameplay is kinda lackluster, but story is AMAZING, thanks mainly to a fantastic translation. I loved Kyle Hyde; I loved everyone in the hotel. Unfortunately Cing went bankrupt and the sequel, Last Window: The Secret of Cape West, was never released in the US. I actually picked up the PAL version of it off of Play-Asia (for freaking $40!!! I'm a cheap-ass), but the translation is a lot less noir-esque and I lost interest pretty quickly.
Really enjoyed this, including Jack's input, even though he is younger than me. I'm so old...
Great show gentlemen, I have to say I loved Silent Hill Shattered Memories' story as well. Definitely one of my favorite games of 2009.
I'm thinking of picking up Trace Memory, sounds really interesting.
Jack did a good job, and y'all turned out a great Top 5 DT.
You know you I kinda miss, Nate from BioWare. I like the Brad/Nate talk.Nate dissaproves -27.
lol, Jack sound irish :b
I adore Hotel Dusk easily the finest adventure game released in the past 5-10 years, atmosphere and story remained pretty mature/bleak for a Nintendo game. Still working on Last Window, damn shame it never got a US release.
