I love how Nick loves the story in games and hes a huge fan of resident evil...
But still he doesnt have a clue about the story of Resident evil.
And for brad:Giant Snakes, Giant Alligator, Giant Sharks...
Those are just gene-manipulated animals... That aint all that far fetched.
Resident evil series was originally about Viral experiments and playing god with science but after resident evil code veronica the series started to go all over the place...
WTF happened to that series!? Originally Wesker was just a normal guy playing two roles:
Being a top researcher at the Umbrella and at the same time doing observation work as the commander of S.T.A.R.S. I can handle the stuff that happens in RE 1, 2 & 3. Birkin stabbing himself with the G-virus just starts to mutate and re-program his DNA and physical form creating him an imperfect mutated weapon. Hes basically like a zombie exept that the G-virus has properties that T-virus doesnt have, like mutation. When i started not to give a damn about the resident evil stories it was around RE Code V and Re 4. That's the time when the story started to get f*cking stupid. Nick might like the story of Resident evil 4 but it has been voted as one of the worst storys in any video game ever... Theres nothing you van do about it.
Story of RE 1: One of the best stories i have seen. (Well in a horror game atleast)
RE 2: Pretty good.
RE 3: Decent.
RE CV: Bad.
RE 4: Worst by far.
RE 5: Below decent.
Resident evil had good story when it was trying to critisize real world problems like gene-experiments and viral weaponry... Nowdays it seems that all the story is about is just over the top shit that doesnt have any bearing on anyones life...

jeez, i dont think the plot went that crazy! i mean wesker was playing two roles sure but you know the classic idea of power goes to your head then you get to much to handle you end up wanting to be god.i honestly see nothing wrong with current games...:/

"Jumped the shark" comes from Fonzie (from Happy Days) leaping over a shark while water skiing. It's not really a shark jumping. Still funny, though.
