The Indie Fund, a funding company established by various successful independent developers, announced yesterday the first three games that they will be supporting, all of which are fairly known quantities: Monaco, Shadow Physics and Q.U.B.E.

Monaco was the winner of the Excellence in Design award and Seumas McNally Grand Prize at last year’s Independent Games Festival. It is a cooperative, top down stealth-heist game.

Shadow Physics is a game in which a 2D platformer is played on the shadows of a 3D space, similar to the recently released Lost in Shadow.

Q.U.B.E. is a first person puzzle game that involves manipulating the portal-test-chamber-like environment that is constructed with various colored cubes with different properties. A playable beta of this game was released last year.

Details of the funding were not given but it is expected that two of the three games will be released this year.
