I hate to keep posting about this.  Trust me, i'm sick of it at this point. I just wanted to bring this video interview to light because not even I knew it existed until it was pointed out to me by "Colin," a member of our community (thanks!), in a previous post that I made.  Below you can watch an interview with the producers of the new DmC where they address combat, working with Capcom Japan, pleasing the fans, and Dante's white hair.  Of course, I don't expect this to sway any peoples opinions but I hope everyone watches it in hopes of learning a little bit more about the project.

This interview actually has me more skeptical at the fate of DmC. Calling it a reboot, yet its a prequel (at least according to his description)... um yea?

but once again, i am not going to give a true judgment until i see the rest of the elements. I need action, not just words.

Wait, are these guys really trying to sell that Dante was cool because of the generations music? And Devil May Cry didn't come out 12 years ago, it came out 9 years ago, 7 days after my birthday.

Dante was cool because he was the ultimate badass, he was cool because he kept calm even in the most dire situations. But I am glad they got a few guys from Capcom Japan helping them out so they don't mess anything up.

Yeah I made a post about this on the forums two days ago. This is a terrible interview that made me even more against the project. Who the hell is this guy to say what is "cool"?

Also he completely dismisses everyone who is skeptical about the new Dante. Does he try to convince us that the game will keep the same tone or style? No. He actually says what we loved about the first 4 games isn't "in style anymore" so he is right and we have to deal with it.

Tameem should not be allowed to talk about the project again. He is just making everything worse.

Honestly can we just stop talking about this until we get some real gameplay footage. The change is happening, praise and complaints be damned. Lets just wait for it to be done.

Well, Seeing as I haven't played a DMC Game yet, I'm thinking should I go pick up a few of the games to understand why people are so mad?

I'm actually liking the new art direction it's taken. But of course we still have to see the final product before anything else.

I'm really looking forward to a reboot from developers who think the Devil May Cry franchise started 12 years ago, looks like I can really bet bottom dollar on these guys. They seem to have done their research alright.

Okay, what is with this guy and tight shirts interviews? Is he saying that DMC 1 isn't cool anymore. If that's true, then why the hell did I replay it a few weeks ago? "Look at me, I'm a very depressed, rebellious punk ass kid who burn people with cigarettes." Very deep shit right here.
