Bioshock Infinite Demo Brings Forth Wetnessing of Pants (UPDATED W/ VIDEO)

Looks cool but how fun will it be to play? i always seem to be looking the wrong way during scripted moments and completely miss the awesomeness.

I watched it this morning and wow. There was a lot going on in that gameplay trailer. Needless to say, the setting was gorgeous. Even more interesting (at least I thought) was the way Booker battled along side Elizabeth. It was very smooth and sort of a give and take set up. My only concern is that there is so much going on, how well will it work when it's a clusterfuck and you're trying to figure out what's going on. Honestly though, I just want to get my hands on it and run around Columbia myself. But I thought it was a pretty rad trailer and I can't wait to see more.

I watched this right after class this morning on my 360 and the whole time I was just thinking " Oh my god". This really does look phenomenal. I'm really impressed so far with this game... especially now just having seen that.

Possibly better than Bioshock 1? only time will tell

Is this actual gameplay? Because it kind of looks like those gameplay videos where it is actually a cutscene made to look like gameplay to get fans bouncing round the room. If this is actually gameplay then fuck me its going to be like an amazing fluid game, no cutscenes required.

Dont get me wrong i am excited about this, but i have a funny feeling its a cutscene/gameplay vid. I hope not.

I think I just gained interest in Bioshock again. Wow, I thought 2 swept the interest out of me.

When I heard what Irrational Games next project like many I went 'ugh'.

This looks like a step in the right direction though! Wow, it looks really nice, I was into it the whole time. Only time will tell if they can deliver once more.

I still wish they would talk about why it's a considered Bioshock game...I understand the ties of a society gone mad, abuse of power, the 'big daddy' figures....hmm. What does Bioshock mean for the titles anyway? I know they are the successors to System Shock, but still...

Hey, now. Valve isn't the only one allowed to get all scripty in their games sequences. The lack of a HUD in this video makes it feel like more of a cutscene, specially since there are no icons or menu for when the guy playing toggles his plasm...magic powers.

Also: horse chucking.

It looks really scripted in a very good way, the way the player charges Charles off the edge, gets a new plasmid, then rides the rails kept me wondering if it was a player or just one big cut scene

Am i the only one who gets butterflies when he almost falls on the rails?

My jaw was on the floor the entire video. I feel like a little school girl with all this excitment!!!!

Sniping from one hovering building-platform to another looks awesome.

That whole video was insane. My wife even stopped what she was doing just to look over my shoulder and see what was going on.

Just when you thought the Handyman was the thing to worry about in this game. If this was indeed all gameplay then I'm very impressed. I couldn't speak through that entire thing.

Holy SHIT. I need a time machine to move forward to 2012 asap.

This looks really good, and it will be as good as the first Bioshock since Irrational is doing it so I have high hopes!

This is the first time a trailer has ever wowed me.
I'm speechless.

Voiced character: Made me feel less of a relationship to the guy you are playing, the whole time I just didn't really care much about what he said. (as opposed to the Big Daddy from Bioshock 2 and Jack from the orgional Bioshock)

New character design: Yeah, I liked the look of the Eleanor from Bioshock 2 better then I do this Elizabeth's design. (maybe its because of the lightning, lots of sun light out there)

Question: Where the heck are the big daddy's and little sisters, you have to have some kind of flow of adam in all that chaos. I thought from the cinematic trailer it was going to be more like a city that is thriving and in good health, but this demo has seriously show how debilitated and corrupt the "city in the sky" is. (no different from the collapsing and falling apart Rapture)

I'm trippin' balls, guys.

Watching that video gave me an orgasm

A fair chunk looked scripted or cut scenes mixed in with gameplay but, really, never mind that or not...the design is gorgeous, really interesting stuff.
