Have a great time in Japan, David! We'll miss your quick uploads (you know... plus the other stuff you bring to the podcast).

Good luck, hope you enjoy your time in Japan as much (and more ofcourse) as you always do. Even though I know you will, lol... Isn't this like the 3rd time in the span of year? May have to just make the inevitable move and not look back =)

on metroid prime and the story, I actually like how the story is more in the background, open to you if you wish to find it. Scanning pirate computers for log entries, chozo lure and even the creatures themselves. to me it made the world feel more real. You land on a planet with almost no knowledge of this world or whats going on. Logically if you search for information through computers or text on walls, assuming you have the equipment to translate it, then you will learn of this worlds history and even your enemies goals, like scanning pirate logs tells you of how the pirates discovered metroid prime and how phazon seems to accelerate mutations among species and even the pirates trying to reverse engineer Samus's abilities like her beams, armor, and even the morph ball (with some dark humor thrown in there)

I'm thrilled that my question got asked. Alex Vance is a great choice, and you can do alot worse than a purple Pikmin.
Great show guys, have a good time in Japan David.

Listened to the show today during my 4 hour shift at Walmart.
I was happy to see it was just below 3 hours long.
It's kinda nice seeing an episode that's almost a parallel on the first episodes, with just Brad and David, this close to episode 200. The banter back and forth was so tightly knit that it was comfy enough to wear as a sweater. What? I dunno.
I'm from San Antonio. I've never said "y'all" but I hear it all the time. I've almost NEVER heard the phrase "fixing to".
