Variety in games isn't always a good thing. Possibly afraid of their games becoming repetitive, designers often add in sequences or segments that deviate from the core mechanics that make their great. These range from uninspired turret sequences to surfing on missiles. The segments frequently suck. Sometimes these diversions are the only redeeming part in a game where the main course is the crappy "segment". Well, this weekend we will be discussing our Top 5 Crappy Segments in Good Games.

We would like to hear your our answers for this Top 5. Please post your lists (with explanations) in the Top 5 Crappy Segments in Good Games Thread.

We should be recording tomorrow around 3pm.
