All those ideas that Brad had for Animal Crossing multiplayer sounds a lot like Minecraft Survival Multiplayer. He talked about getting together with friends in a private session and creating your own town, while fending off enemies (though enemies aren't in Minecraft multiplayer yet, they will be eventually).

That was a good show, I really enjoyed it.
And, with that Glee thing, Tom Hanks isn't retarded and he played 'Forest Gump'.
Just sayin'.

Yeah. A lot of ideas Brad mentioned are definitely in MineCraft.
You should try it. Itäs really cool.
Oh and now that I remember: Brad has talked about open world Left 4 Dead here and there.
Well... There actually is one. It's called Dead Island and has been in developement for a quite a long time for now, but it is suppose to come out soon.
On top of that, there are some huge usermade maps for these sorts of things for L4D that quite huge. They're really popular among the community.
Oh and while were at it, here's a mod for ARMA II that has multiplayer freeroam Zombie madness:

So yeah, a lot of these thigns a re for PC, but then again they are free if you own the game.
Mods and Indie Games are definitely really revolutionary in some aspects.

Glad to see(or hear) Eternal Darkness getting some love. When I saw this topic, that was the first game that popped into my head. Brad's sanity effect ideas were great, although I think Nintendo might own the copyright on that aspect of the game so if another is made it would have to be on the Wii, have that liscensed out by Nintendo, or have Silicon Knights buy the rights. Still a new Enternal Darkness game needs to be made. It was one of the finest Gamecube games and I think it could be a great series if they choose to expand it.
