Game of the Year 2010 Confirmed in August!

Hmm...I think Brad's excited about the Foam Gun

This dev surprises me by not being absolutely greedy with pricing for content, but then again when it comes to games on the PS3, you certainly get the bang for your buck in terms of content..unlike SOME SYSTEMS*Cough Cough* XBOX *cough Cough*. There is a vast amount of choice in this game, it really tickles my fancy :) I would say this thing has its victory shoes on already, and its not even out yet!

Just for the record, there isn't a "Foam Gun" per-say, just a power-up (think the Paintenator from LBP1) that Sackboy can find, that can spawn anything the level creator chooses (think the emitter from LBP1). In the video's case, those were Foam "Bullets" one of a bunch of new bullet objects like fire bullets or electric bullets.

There's a lot out on this game, more than you think Brad.

Honestly, everything they have shown on LBP2, justifies them making a sequel, there a lot of amazing new content. It almost creates a new game.

It is a shame about that game called Create, as it comes out the same month. I doubt it has any chance against LBP2.

That was the most amazing trailer I have seen in a long time! I cannot wait for this game. I pre ordered asassins creed brother hood or bloodlines, which ever one it is... I dont know im not into the series... But I did that for the limited addition poster.. I shall be switching that order to LBP2 definatly!

i was going to wait for the last guardian to get a ps3 but this does it once i get a chance im picking it up especially after seeing brads marathon of the first lbp

I'll sadly admit I passed on the first LBP. =( Mainly due to internet connectivity regarding my PS3.

But I WILL not pass on LBP2. I guarantee it.

Hmm... I wouldn't call it game of the year just yet. I think that Reach, Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 will give it some stiff competition. Still, I'm really looking forward to this game.

Cant wait for this game, the first was brilliant just to see what other players had come up with. The sequal is just so many games in one it will keep me hooked for hours. As for reach being the game of the year, I agree it does look good but it is yet another fps (YAWN).

This is the game i can't wait to be finally released. Ill buy it day 1, i love the first and clearly this one will even be better.

The foam gun looks pretty neat, but I'm more excited for the grappling hook.
