You know who you are, and I have good news. Below is an awesome flash game that could very well help your realize the silliness of Achievement Points. Or it could hopeless suck you in like it almost did me. This is one of the cleverest flash games I've seen in awhile. How many achievements can YOU get? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    Haha! Oh man. That's hilarious.

I didn't know what to expect at first, but when I got an achievement for "walking a tiny distance" I lost it and lol'd hard. Achievements for muting the sound and changing the quality is fucking genius.

I played this for a few minutes yesterday, and quit since I didn't have the patience to get all the achievements.

I'm not entirely sure what the hell was going on there, but I think I liked it. Maybe.

Hahaha. 10 corpse pile-up cheevo! This was amusing, but I stopped playing after ten minutes. I could probably be there all day.

I spent 50 minutes beating it.

I had to look up the music for Ode to Joy to do it.

    So worth it.

While the game itself is a joke the second part (The buy buttons) are a good interpretation of M.S. nickel and 'life savings' us.

In all seriousness i find my self more than once going the extra mile the get an achievement. Not that 1 hour mining fest for 5G but that 20g achievement that i want to push my self for. It makes the game much more interesting. I honestly don't care about my "friends seeing my 20 of 60 achievement rating. If i want to i want to. Brad doesn't Brad Fuckin' Doesn't! It's a matter of either you care or you don't. Just enjoy your self and have fun jerkin' yourself to sleep.

lol, ive actually played this game a long time ago (about 6 months) when it was first released and all it made me think was... dude i wan't more cheevos!" Oddly enough the game "achievment unlocked" has real achievment points attached to it if you play the game on Newgrounds. :D

When I 100% orcarina of time back in the day, I had the save file that I had to load up and show people the fruits of my labor. Nowadays, Achievements skips the load process and makes it easier to share gaming history.

Joe Danger for example has a trophy that if you finish all the events within a track. Without that trophy, I have no real incentive to sit back for 100+ tries to perfect time trial a 1 minute long course.

Haha, neat game! Some of those cheevos made me laugh hard. Got half of them then had to pull myself away.

Anyway in all seriousness, I like getting achievements in my games only if I got them because I did something through my own personal goals and achievements (i.e. personal progression). I never really try to seek out achievements...
...Unless I can't drag myself away from this game.

aah damnit. I played for a while and got around 30% of the achievements until I said "Why the hell am I still playing this?" And why are you an elephant??

Gods, I love this game. I loved the first one a lot too, and managed to get all the achievements on that one. I just love the thing with doing something so silly or crazy and getting an achievement for it. "Congratulations, you're on the internet!" Ah, I love the false sense of actually doing something worthwhile.

The games that whoever makes this game makes(wow, that sounds awful) are all quite wonderful and quite often somewhat...humorous commentaries on how gaming is today in general. Another one where you're just doing the same level repeatedly is equally fun, due to how all the creative ways that the level turns is amusing. Also, the look of the game is very simple and cute and being able to run around as a jumping elephant is just great.

You get like 5 right off the bat lol. Thanks Brad I love flash games. =] I think cheevos are pretty useless though. I understand they may want you to have a goal or something and maybe there could be those cheevos... but I don't think there should be points to go with it. A gamerscore just puts everyone in a competition when it really shouldn't be about that. (and i'm not just saying that because mine is less than 5,000 haha).

Played this yesterday and it was pretty good. Almost emailed it to David stop his cheevo whoring ways. Got all 250 in 1 hour. I'm still fine with getting achievements when its possible and if they aren't that hard.
