Let's hope the roster of characters is just as diverse and huge as the last MvC game.

I really loved TvC so I can't wait for this. I'll suck at it like I do all fighting games but damn they're so much fun to play.

What I'd like to see in this game is not only a giant list of characters like the previous game, but I would also like to see more characters from games and series' that aren't as known or popular. I'm a little tired of seeing the same characters over and over again in every installment in the "VS" franchise. I know that characters like Ryu, Chun-Li, and Morrigan are staple figures in the series, but it also feels like cheating in an attempt to lure people into each game they put out.

Maybe this is the reason that Tatsunoko VS Capcom didn't do so well, because of the number of unknown characters to use and not enough of well known guys.

I really did like seeing characters from others games like Megaman from the Megaman Legends games, Frank West from Dead Rising, and even the robot from Lost Planet, I really didn't see that coming.

This third installment really has an opportunity to use some really interesting and fun characters and I hope that it doesn't become more of the same thing because people are expecting the usual characters all over again.

Capcom... what the hell, man? I know that you guys are on fire right now with the "revival of the fighting game", but how about throwing us Street Fighter 3 fans a bone? You re-made MvC2 with online, re COMPLETELY re-made Super Street Fighter II, why not slap a net code on Street Fighter 3: Third Strike and make us Elena, Urien, Oro, and Necro players happy?

But I'm more concerned with this game being fun than having a lot of cool characters in it. I loved the first MvC but the second one felt a little stale to me and for me it got old kind of quickly (for the record yes I tend to get tired of fighting games rather quickly).

So I just hope this game survives on more than just nostalgia, as the trailer says its been in high demand for a decade. High demand means high hype so I hope they can deliver on it.

I would settle for something like Steel Samurai to represent the Ace Attourney series, but the fact they didn't want to pull a Captain Falcon with Nick by simply making up a bunch of moves for him in TvC makes this seem unlikely.

I just hope that the larger characters are nerfed. Man...Venom and some of the other huge Marvel characters were stupidly overpowered.

I just hope that my Sakura/Jill/Akuma trio will be viable in this one. I love that combo so much,,,but, I also hope they either cool the assists down or make the assists less ridiculous, where if you aren't assisting online, then you lose. Then again, I really just want another Darkstalkers game.

Will it follow closely to the trailer, or be back to the cartoonish sprites? Sprites would allow for more characters. Hopefully not the look of SF4.

Great to finally have Marvel vs Capcom 3 announced. Now the only character that I really want from the Capcom side is Amaterasu from Okami. Though I wonder where Spiderman may be and hope Venom comes back. Also hopefully Capcom increase the character roster to more than just 30+.
