Many of us hated that Final Fantasy 13 trailer that had the soulful sounds of a Mariah Carey wannabe synced up with the many melodramatic shout fests that seem to dominate every trailer of the game. Well this tops it. What you are about to watch is the intro to Valkyria Chronicles 2. And while the opening of the first game was mentioned several times in the Favorite Video Game Intros thread in the forums, the new intro is tainted by the awkward sounds on a Japanese boys band. Ouch. Subtlety lost...
But fear not my friends. Shortly after I watched this travesty, I saw this gameplay video and... MY GOD AM I JONESING FOR SOME VALKYRIA 2. WHAT'S IS THAT NEW MORALE METER??? DID YOU SEE THE NEW UNIT WITH SHIELD AND WAR HAMMER?!? FUUUUCK YEAH!! WHY IS THIS NOT ON PS3?!!!!!!?

Not just that. I can't believe why Nick thinks the FF13 trailer was good. I stopped watching it after the part where the chick yells at the blond dude with the cap and he makes those orgasmic noises as if he's about to cum.
And, Brad. I'm sure they'll make a third game some time in the future. Hopefully it will be on the PS3.

The thing is I prefer the japanese music over the american pop music. I mean we get enough of the american pop stuff here. There's just something special in the japanese songs. As for the game, I'd still get it regardless of the pop songs. If it's an amazing game, I'm going to get it eventually whether it be day one or a few weeks down the road.

I saw the pictures of Mariah Carey when she performed at the Today show. She looks fantastic and happy. I just love her so much
