I really hope this DS adventure game finds someone to localize it. One of my shameful secrets is how little I have played of Hotel Dusk, despite me owning it and enjoying what I played. They really seem to be taking the art style a step further in the sequel, and it looks beautiful this time in color. It's also pretty amazing just how grown up these games feel -- I'm so sick of controlling anime kids and space marines in games. I think Hotel Dusk would also make for an inspired Revival Club Podcast. Perhaps we will do that one when we get word on this game getting localized.

Can't say I've ever heard of the game before, but this post did spark an interest in looking it up. Here's to hoping it gets announced at PAX East 2010...maybe?

Played Hotel Dusk last summer, and despite some of the bullshit points where I got stuck at, I really enjoyed the story and characters.

And the face that Kyle made whenever a puzzle was solved was fucking excellent.

The last game was quite a ride, and I found myself glued to my DS when I first played it. It had a few low points, but man it was good stuff.
A revival show for the game does sound interesting.
I'm crossing my fingers for it to make it over here sometime in early 2010.

    Hopefully.

I know exactly what you're talking about with that mature feel to the game, and you've summed up exactly what I loved about Hotel Dusk. I'm having a hard time mustering much of an interest for the next Final Fantasy release because of what I've seen of the characters, but the news of a sequel to Hotel Dusk has my heart accelerating and the corners of my mouth tilting upwards.
    Thank you for posting this.

The most impressive thing about the trailer is how it makes you feel something without any gameplay or dialog being spoken or dialog being shown. The art and music make this trailer/game very mysterious and intriguing.

Hotel Dusk was such a great game, with a great story (from what I remember). I really like this company. I also enjoyed Trace Memory, it had some nice puzzles. Hopefully this will make it to the US because I could really use a good DS game for once.

Hotel Dusk is one of those DS games I always meant to play but it went out of print and I never got it--even though it eventually was rereleased. It would make a great revival podcast game.

I love the look of this which is how i felt about the first game "Hotel Dusk" but i guess i could sort of consider that my shame of the week as I never played the first game even when I really looked forward to it, but i have to say, I really hope this game gets english voices.

This trailer has made me so excited for this game Hotel Dusk is easily one of my favorite adventure games and Kyle's suave demeanor seems to be back with this. Heres to hoping this game gets U.S. localization.
