The Final Fantasy 13 TGS trailer with English dubs (not subs).

looks great. but yeah the music in the beginning was just so unfitting. does the english version of the game have its own voice movement for english? cause it seems that way.

well at least the voice acting in this game seems more genuine than most others, it actually seemed to fit the characters unlike in other games where it seems tacked on

Jesus Serah and Snow sound strange in English. Still awesome though.

It does look like they worked on syncing the english voices with the lips. Looks very good.

All I can say is: dont like the English VA's, might as well mute the game, unfortunately.

But otherwise the game looks freakin gorgeous. The lip syncing is really good, like they actually reanimated the cutscenes just for the ENG dub. Kudos to that.

2010 can't come soon enough.

Forgot to mention, I LOVE the music. I'm a Masashi Hamauzu fan though, so yeah.

the english voice work is pretty good. not amazing but you feel like the voices are coming from the characters and not just a VA doing the lines. for that much, i can comend them for but some of the characters do seem to need a little more work. also, anyone else laugh at the car summon?

some of the lines come off a little mellowdramatic, but that's probably because we are hearing it out of context. Im sure the majority of the game will have great, natural dialogue with only a couple hilariously cheesy moments.

I can't find 1 nice thing about this game except that once it's over S-E can always try again with FF15 to see if they can make a good RPG before this gen is over. I think the english voice acting in this game is terrible (to me this is the worst thing in the game aside from the uninteresting characters & uninspired environments). The battle system is pretty bad too (as well as what they did with the summons). Obviously, I'm just basing my opinions on the trailers so far as well as the demo but this game reminds me too much of FFX-2. S-E seems to have made some good games for handhelds like the DS & PSP but when it comes to consoles it feels like they have no clue what to do. Supposedly the PS3 won't have Japanese dubs either because of S-E's ass-backwards stance on "fairness". This game should've just been released on the PS2 as this game isn't looking anything like a Final Fantasy game that would be suited for "this gen".

Personally, I just see this game as a mediocre RPG that is getting overhyped. Sure the fanboys of the series will love it regardless but to me I think it will just end up like GTA4 and Alone In The Dark (hyped but mediocre).

Sure, the music is ok on its own, but it doesn't fit the video at all. I think the trailer calls for something more epic and grand. Anyone know who's doing the music for the game itself?

This will be the first FF game I will buy. I have to say I'm kind of looking foward to that purchase.

The girl near the end with the Aussie accent (which Japs can't copy which is why their language is worse) was pretty hot. Voice acting unsurprisingly was pretty good I think Lightning, chick I mentioned in the beginning and whoever the Sephiroth looking dude is were the highlights. Finally starting to get excited for this game.

Jesus Christ, you'd think after 10+ years of being in the business they'd have the VA nailed.

Praying they do a better VA with Versus XII.

Is there an option to change those voices between English and Japan? I prefer Japan voice over and English subs...

they can't put in Japanese voice audio because the game is predicted to take up 4 discs for the xbox version. Anymore stuff and they have to manufacture more discs per box.

Probably that will be the "collector's edition"

P.S. People who prefer Japanese voice acting should learn Japanese.
