I've been playing the Asian release and so far it's hasn't been as frustrating as people might think. Death is a learning experience and it doesn't take too long to get back to the location of your last death since you'll be more aware of enemy strategy's.

A great experience which deserves to sell.

Guaranteed buy for me.

Man I'm so glad this game is getting good reviews even from the big sites. I was a bit afraid some reviewers wouldn't really bother finishing it and just write it off as "stoic and frustrating", or something like that. And that's not a jab at the gaming press, it's just that I've been playing this game for a couple of months now and I'd imagine that I'd be pretty pissed if I had a deadline and had to finish a game like this haha. That'd be a nightmare actually.

Edge gave it a 9/10, which was pretty cool too. And they're usually picky about their reviews(they gave Killzone2 a 7 which made tons of people upset lol).

I hope you all go out and buy it. Because it's awesome and I really want a fucking sequel for this.

This game seriously came out of nowhere, it doesn't seem the type of game that would get stellar reviews, so that was a big surprise. But with Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 coming out next week, why bother with this game. I'll pass on this one and i probably won't regret it

Wow, just got done playing a long stint of Demon's Souls, Though I haven't gotten far enough to level, it's clear that this is quite the sleeper hit. I'm hoping word of mouth will make this a very popular title.

So many things just work in this game, and combat is very satisfying. Plus the message system works beautifully. I can't wait until I actually get a physical body again. =3

And I thought getting G Ranked in Monster Hunter was a learning experience. This looks like one of the most difficult gaming experiences ever. I can't wait.

It's either this or Uncharted 2. Being that money is hard to come by lately...my money is on Uncharted 2. Probably pick up Demon Souls when it hits the $20 bin.
