On October 26, 2000 the PlayStation 2 made its made its way to North American shores. Nine years later, its still showing up as a contender on the NPD's and games are still being released for it. Some people like to make hashwork when Sony reps talk about the PS3's "10 year life cycle." Well the proof is right there... in that little box that just keeps on chugging along.

My good old fat ps2 is still alive! Albeit the ether net port is loose and it has a little trouble reading disc's every now and then, but it works. Sadly I haven't used it in years thanks to my ps3. I should get a new ps2 sometime just in case.
