Dammit, this podcast was too good. I'm going to miss the hell out of it once the next couple of episodes come and go.

Hm... The Skype quality is a little weird.

For one-on-one calls like this one, you can get a program called MXSkype (I can email the installer to you), or any number of other programs. We use MXSkype for the Fancast.

For the actual podcast, though, I'm not sure how it could work. I suppose, if you wanted to set it up to where the call is recording on one computer, and have Nick mix in Travis's audio track.

Or, better yet, have the Skype call with Travis going in the background, have him record his audio track on his end (with something like Audacity), record like normal, and then when it's over, have Travis send his audio track (probably after he compiles it to .mp3), and have Nick slap it on with the show.

As for the "drops" in the calls, it sounded it like the mic was just cutting out, not that the call was dropping. The only real fix for that would be for Travis to go get a decent mic (I have some suggestions, if you want them).

Also, if it is really dropping, try plugging the computers straight into the modem, rather than going through wifi. Ethernet cables are much more stable than a wifi connection.

Anyway, I liked the podcast, and I hope this becomes a regular thing. FTB, David.
