You are all super fucking lucky. The greatest game ever was released for download on the Playstation Network for $9.99. This means for a mere ten dollars you can play Final Fantasy Tactics on your PS3 or PSP, and find out why this is my favorite game ever. Ten dollars to learn about and play the game that smart and awesome people love. Be a smart and awesome person for once and go buy this game. Do it or I hate you. Only stupid people would choose not to buy this game if they have never played it. Are you stupid? Maybe. But at least you can play the greatest game of all time for ten dollars. Do it or I will kill you with murder.

Meh, I won't pick this up personally. I didn't enjoy it the other 2 times I bought it. That's just me though.

Already picked up a PS1 black label copy of the game a few months back. Just need to finish it now so I won't be in the group of people ranted at anymore.

ill play it again if you tell me how to beat the level with the archers and black mages. the stress of that level took 10 years off my life. probably missing something obvious

This is awesome, Final Fantasy Tactics is one of my favorite games and I've been meaning to play through it again but I lost my original game disc so this comes at perfect timing. I urge anyone who hasn't tried it to do so now, its great.

Pff, chess with magic.
Argath is kicking my ass right now. Seriously, I get 4 fucking guys and he has like 7? Unfair. Shouldn't have switched Ramza to a stupid monk, takes forever to make them useful.

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between the original on PSN and War of the Lions that came out for the PSP a few years ago?
I've been meaning to check this game out for a while, but I'm just wondering which version I should go for.

War of the Lions for PSP adds new cutscenes, classes, and characters. Also the translation has been redone and the game features a multiplayer mode.
Either versions is fine but for some reason the slow-downs during abilities in the PSP version seems more noticeable.

With this purchase, I've purchased this game 3 times already. PSOne, PSP, and now PSN. Square...*sigh* give me Bushido Blade 1 and 2!

I have the original PS1 copy and its not one of the greatest games of all time..........I can name over 100 titles that are better than this game. It's a great game don't get me wrong, but to say it's one of the greatest is downright ignorant

I have the psp version. I see no need in getting this one currently. Also Prowler how is it ignorant to say this is the greatest game?

I would by it, but I know I have it somewhere in my house... :(

I bought the PSP version, and to be perfectly honest, I got to the second mission, and quit out of a mix of boredom and confusion. Maybe I'll try to pick it up again some time.

So normally I'd be happy to point out how wrong Brad is --- but I can't here. I first tried FFT shortly after finishing FF VII because I was on a Fantasy high. I was disappointed and quit playing really quickly.
Later on, Brad convinced me to give the game another chance, which I did. And I loved it. The game, admittedly, has a high "learning" curve, in that it takes a while to figure out why this game is fun. But once you "get it," it's a hoot.

I've had this game for 11 years already, So exclude me from the rant :(. Besides... I love this game so i'm working on finishing it once again.

@ Prowler
lets hear it then.

I've had the ROM for a while and have played up the the third mission. Stopped there cause my guy died. I enjoy it but it usually takes me a while to force myself to begin playing it.
