Fat princess looks like a fun game to play and is cool but since you like braid style games I would go with trine.

I was a big fan of fat princess until I saw gameplay of trine. I'll put it like this if fat princess and trine were the same price and came out at the same time I would get Trine because if offers more then fat princess gameplay wise.

if you want online play then fat princess is a must have but if you are looking for a Braid type game then you can't go wrong with trine.

Go for Fat Princess. You know you like thick girls with meat on their bones.

I'd say go for Fat Princess, since that seems like a game that might not get a lot of discussion on the podcast.

I'd say Trine would be a wise choice, the game looks beautiful and looks smart and fun.

I played through it with my brother (PC version) and we had a blast.
Be great if you Brad and David played co-op through it.

There both good games, if you wanna play a multiplayer game go for fat princess its really fun and lots of content for 15$ , on the other hand if you want a single player game go for Trine,even still last time i heard it got delayed because of a bug so there still no specific release date for psn but still its a fun game especially with 3 player co-op but its 5 bucks more than fat princess.

Personally I find myself enjoying Fat Princess more, so I would lean more towards that. I also think Fat Princess is only Multiplayer and arenas which aren't that important, so that might affect your decision.

Fat Princess and Trine both have unique art style that can be appreciated. Trine is close to Flower and Braid, but Fat Princess is pretty much by itself....Until Fairytale fights comes out atleast. I haven't played Trine(obviously), but I would say that you have to get both. If you have enough friends, Fat Princess is a blast. You can't play the game at all if people don't use mics(beause people just run around randomly), but it is really fun when playing with a group of friends.

i am leaning toward fat princess. it looks like a lot of fun.. and i say "looks like" 'cause i dont have a PS3. but ive seen it played and it looks like a lot of fun especially since you would be playing it online.

trine does look very interesing but heard it costs a bit more than fat princess but you do like it because it is similar to braid and flower and that is a plus for you.

really, if you cant decide at all between either, i say fat princess :D

I got fat princess yesterday and tried trine on steam.
Both have their pros and cons. Fat princess is all about its outrageous style and humor. Also being a really great online game its fun can last a while. Trine is all about its story and concepts engaging the player. I would say that you should get both.
If you want multiplayer fun and hilarity in the process choose fat princess
if you want a solo thrill ride go for trine

Fat Princess seems more feed friendly and would allow you to interact with some of the chatters if you wished. Although, that trailer for Trine really reminded me of Braid (which was fantastic), probably because of the music and platforming. It's really up to you and which you think would be more enjoyable for you.

Trine is nothing like Braid...at all. It's much more like Lost Vikings, an old game for Genesis and PC.

You could close your eyes and point to either one of these games, you'd be making a great choice either way.

i agree with david. go for fat princess. you havnt had much luck with the thin chicks, so try one with a few more curves :P

Fat Princess: Great game. Lots of fun. Class-based CTF style gameplay. Great for online nights. Also has a fun, albeit, short, single player. Cute story line which actually explains the gameplay, somewhat.

Trine: Beautiful puzzle/platformer. There are 3 classes that you can switch to at any time, unless one of them dies. (think TMNT on the NES) This would be alot of fun to watch on the feed. Just as braid was.

Personally, I feel that Fat Princess will have a longer life, because it is mostly online. There is even a section in the options (twiddly knobs) called "FAT downloads) so there will be additional DLC. It has voice chat. you can make matchs that have invite-only slots. There are several game types. Including one called Soccer. You are actually playing soccer. but you get to kill the other players. Its actually alot of hectic fun.

Guess you made your decision, huh? At 5 in the morning =P. Have you tried it out yet? Nolan's supposed to get it but I'm not exactly sure when. Trying to convince him to get it today. If he does, we'll let you know so maybe you guys can play sometime. Doubt you have any more money left for Trine right now, since you indulged yourself a little too much at Barton Creek today!
