It's technically not new footage because it is the same level that was demoed again and again at E3 but this really does look like one of those games that changes with each play through. Let's just hope that the extra dev time will help them eliminate that occasional screen tearing.

P.S.- Starbreeze... I have faith in your team but take some notes and don't fuck up the next Bourne game.

At Comic Con when they were demoing it they had a guy explaining everything that was happening...
"This is the guy who killed your DAUGHTER, the guy you've been trying to find through the whole game, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! Shoot em'! Shoot em'! Shoot em'! But then your own agency stops ya', but that's only the beginning!"
"Ubisoft games that DON'T SUCK!"
Now I can't watch a splinter cell video without that guy yelling in my head to "Shoot em'"

If you're curious Nick, apparently a sequel to the Darkness is being made but without Starbreeze's involvement. I guess that means they're really devoting themselves to the next Bourne game.

i think brad was right, the last splinter cell was more of a changed compared to the last ones than this one is. Everything I've seen here, really isn't all that different.

This game really seems so un-Splinter Cell now. I mean thats not necessarily a bad thing, but I do believe that classic stealth gameplay is out the window for this generation. I mean heck, it took me a while to register where I had seen those goggles the troops at the end were wearing from. <.< This really is a Bourne game without Bourne.

Cosmic, the trailer only shows the action asskicking of it
you can play most if not the entire game stealthy as before.
Ubi had already explained it.

Ugh, what's with the excessive foul language. The gameplay seems a tad bit to fast, I enjoyed the slow moving feel of previous Splinter Cells. I just hope the final product is worthy to be called a Splinter Cell game.

I can't wait for this game. It has so much potential. And like Clone said, they've just been showing off the action pieces, the developers have stated that you can play the game using only stealth. They just offer you more than that, so you can either be a Splinter Cell, or you can be a juggernaut.

Everything is so...automatic.
Not really sure if the execute option is going to ruin the gameplay, but I have a feeling it will. Also, why is Sam a bullet body bag now? I realize it's a new direction, but I'm going to miss Sam being a badass who also wasn't super human.

If you notice, only a few bullets actually hit Sam
I would say he takes as many bullets as he did in Double agent.
Most of the time the ones shooting at him cant seem to aim and miss most of their shots.

Nick, i gotta admit. This game wasnt interesting me until you started championing it and started showing us all this footage. That text in the scenery thing (forgot the name of it) is really interesting me and will make the splinter cell genre much better in my opinion by not taking you out of the experience at all.

not take you out of the experience?! There's giant blocks of text on the ground! That's not normal!

I'm looking forward to it but they could mess this up if they get the gunplay wrong. Also i like the look of the game, looks polished

Jonkyo... It is even less normal when the world freezes and a giant pop up message appears to give you instructions.... that is what is meant by "taking you out of the experience"
