2009 Underdogs: Borderlands

I feel like getting this game, despite the fact that I don't have a next gen console, just to help it's sales. I'll also get Little King's Story when I get the money.

I really hope Borderlands doesnt under perform because it looks like a really great RPG and FPS. Most people dont like RPGs but since it is also a FPS more people will more than likely get it. Since a few games were pushed back to 2010, people will look for another replacement game(besides ODST and Modern Warfare 2) while they wait for those releases. This could be one of those games.

This game looks like its going to be great. I'm loving Fallout and this seems to have an even more addictive looting system. I hope it gets the attention it deserves. Also, I really like the unique style and art of the game. It makes it different from the thousands of realistic, gritty games out right now.

This game has been my number one most anticipated since I heard about it, but it seems like people right now are only into big name, overrated, bullshit like Call of Duty and Halo. I always hope for the indie stuff to do well, but it doesn't always happen.

I remember seeing this before and it looked really good. I hate CoD, so i'll definately buy this game instead of CoD.

I'll be spending on Borderlands instead of Modern Warfare or Halo. It's more interesting to me after all the footage.

i hope it doesn't looks all cell shaded/cartoony like that second video.

Ever since I saw the unique art style change that gave it that extra kick of personality Borderlands has been my most anticipated game of the year. Can't wait to pick it up.

Borderlands is absolutely one of my most anticipated games of 2009, as was splinter cell but it's now my most anticipated for 2010. anyway, that trailer is f'cking awesome, I've alway wanted a fallout 3 type game with coop in it, it has a cool art-style in it, loot and like a gazzillion guns. I hope you can pick among characters(or make your own) instead of the ones that show in these trailers, not that they aren't great, it's that theyre so different from each other, I don't know if it's class based or what. but to wrap it up: I want this game!

Just wanted to thank you guys for trying to help give more publicity to this game. I'm doing my best trying to get other people to become aware of it and hopefully inspire some people to go out and buy it. Nice to see something with this much potential getting pushed by fans :D

I love the concept of the game and I'm highly anticipating it's release.

The only thing that I have to complain about is the lack of character customization (other than the absurd amount of weapons). So if you play with 3 other people playing the same class online, everyone looks the exact same except with different colours....doesn't sound that appealing.

This game has a really great atmosphere from what I've seen. I can see my self just laughing at the over the topness of it all and certain decisions really make this game look unique like for example the decision to name uber enemies "badass" enemies. I can't wait for this game I already have it on preorder.

I really like the look of this game. It is a little worrying that it is coming out amidst far more hyped shooters, and people may assume it is just a generic shooter, only not as good. Personally I think I will definitely be getting this game, especially since it has those similarities to Diablo 2 which I played far too much hehe :)

I could care less for odst and modern warfare 2 ill be picking up most likely, but I'll be definitely picking up borderlands on the 20th.

A game this ambitious should be supported wholeheartedly by the entire gaming community. If you are going to buy the game, try to convince 3 of your other friends to do the same. Better gameplay for you, they (hopefully) and happy that you convinced them to buy a kickass game, and 2k is paid for innovation like this and bioshock. god i love 2k lol

Does anyone here think Farcry 2 when you see borderlands??? or am I the only one. oh well. LoL they couldn't have picked a more horrible release date xD. right with MW2 and ODST. damn everyone is gonna go get those two games. modern warfare 2 is a must have if u love the CoD series.

This is my most anticipated game for 2009
to me, to be honest, modern warfare 2 and halo ODST looks pretty much more of the same, but this game sticks out like a sore thumb.
I love loot systems, i love RPG elements, and i think that leveling up is a huge drive as well as loot.
