The Official Announcement

Back in February, I received an email from mrfabulous about a not too big, not too small convention in Maine. He asked if we'd be willing to attend. At the time it sounded nice, but travel all the way to Maine seemed a little impossible as it was out of the way. Also we're not exactly the most well known Podcast on the internet so we were worried as to how many people would actually know us.

But because fab had asked so nicely I asked a few of the guys to see if they were interested in going. Travis is up for anything so he was in and when I asked Mike, he replied with his usual, "Sounds Cool." An email was sent out to PortConMaine inquiring about the possibility of having us as guests.

I never expected it, but they responded quite positively and offered us a booth and time for a panel. Now all of a sudden we're traveling to Maine to do a panel. It's come to my attention that there will be a handful of you guys possibly making the trip as well.

The obvious thing we should have is a meet up. In addition, we're kind of up in the air as to what we're going to talk about during the panel. If any one wants to give suggestions on what might be interesting, maybe something Anime related since it is an Anime Convention. Also, I kind of volunteered myself to help out with the Video Game Room at PortCon. Maybe we could set up some sort of video game competition or get together to play games?

I mean we are traveling all the way to Maine, so I'm expecting to completely have a blast. So if you're going to be attending PortCon Maine June 18-21, let us know.
