I loved Left 4 Dead. We've talked about it on shows in the past and had it not been for Valkyria Chronicles, Left 4 Dead would have helped secure a Game of the Year Award from me for the second time in a row.

So why haven't I played it in over 3 months? I've watched people play multiplayer and I can understand why it's blast, but the reason I liked Left 4 Dead was because of the Co-op. In multiplayer games, there is the point where everyone starts off the same. Then there becomes this distancing where people who play more learn intricacies and strategies of the game. For a lot of people this is where the game becomes fun or not fun. I never want to be at a point where I have to play a game to keep up with the curve. That's one of the reasons I have a hard time playing MMOs, I get left behind.

For me, the game was all about going through it the first time. Not knowing where you were going or what was around the corner. It really sucks that my gameplay was so limited because of this. I'm really excited about new content coming out and whenever that does, you can bet that I'll be there playing in once, maybe twice.

Peace,
David

For those of you who might not have been around, this is the feeling I was talking about. This was the first time I played through this mission with Travis (Not Nobunaga), Cody, and Nick (4PP). Being left in the dark and not knowing how far the safe room was made the experience.
