A happy day for Japan. A sad day for Brad.

And every day until the announcement of a Yakuza 3 release in North America will be sadder. I wish the game the best though. For Sega and for the franchise I really do hope it sells amazingly well. Who knows... if the game is big enough of a smash hit over in Japan, then maybe Sega will have faith in a NA release.

It took 2 years for Sega to release Yakuza 2 over here and the audio wasn't even localized. Sadly I feel the release of that game was a test to see if we were going to get Yakuza 3. They gave us one chance. And we blew it. They gave us a second chance, and we blew that one too. It's not completely Sega's fault.

But let's be positive. The date is February 26, 2009. Let's start the timer. And wait...
