Top 5 Most F@*$ed Up Moments in Gaming

The top 5 topics that we at 4-Player Podcast discuss everyweek in podcast form are topics that tend to be broad enough that our individual tastes can be accomodated. However, there are certain topics that we don't discuss because one or more of us simply don't play a certain genre of game so I am setting out to do my own little weekly top 5. These will be top 5's that appeal to my tastes in games or simply are topics that are better written about than listened to. So I shall begin with a topic that is near and dear to my heart. Everyone knows how much I like F***ed up S&#^ so I will start there. These are my top 5 most surprising, disgusting, shocking, and horrifying moments in gaming!


5.) Hell in Prison (The Suffering)- The opening sequence of "The Suffering" was one of the most disturbing and graphic scenes I have ever witnessed in a game. By opening sequence, I am of course referring to the first major chunk of the game that took place in a prison that was going to hell. The scene had everything, a horror fan could possibly want from a game like this: murder, decapitation, hanging, and gang-bangers getting.... well... gangbanged by hell spawn. If you like horror, be sure to give this game a shot.

4.) Trippy Dream Land (Siren: New Translation)- Siren: New Translation was one of the best horror games that I have played in the past few years and this clip from my play through explains why.


3.) The Woman Under the Stairs (Fatal Frame 3)- Fatal Frame has been the cause of many embarrassing moments on my part. The game just flat out scares the hell out of me and I am not afraid to admit that. But this.... this was going a little too far. Its hard enough to be confined to small rooms while being tormented by terrifying ghosts but to be trapped in a tiny crawl space under the floor with a horrifying woman is just a little too much. Watch and piss you pants....


2.) The Shocking Truth (Silent Hill 2)***SPOILERS*** - This is by far one of the most shock inducing moments in gaming. Do not watch or read the following if you do not want Silent Hill 2 to be spoiled. After hours of leading a sad, wreck of a man through the horror of Silent Hill so that he could reunite with his long dead wife, you discover the horrible, shocking truth and the jaws hit the floor...


1.) Showdown in the Orchard (Condemned)- The Condemned finale created some of the most memorable scares and a lot of this has nothing to do with creepy crawlies. The final moments of Condemned put players in a dark, quiet house on an apple orchard in the dead of night. While the house was not crawling with dozens of enemies, the intensity was through the roof. Players had to investigate the house with various forensics tools that sometimes led to places you just simply didn't want to go to. What should have been a quick run through a creepy house became much much more....
